Figure 4-15, A B, C shows the remaining air
pressure valves located inside the body of the
machine at the left center, at the left rear, under
the right inlet station motor, and at the right front
inside endframe. The air pressure gauges factory
default settings are listed :
A Inlet Clamps 50 psi (345 kPa)
B Left Spread Clamp 45 psi (310 kPa)
C Conveyor Air Assist
(option)
30 psi (205 kPa)
Remember, these remaining pressure regulators
only need to be checked and/or adjusted in the
case of a specific machine performance problem.
Refer to the REPAIR chapter, Compressed Air
System section for the appropriate procedure.
Check Ribbon Condition
Perform only when the unit is
RUNNING.
Use extreme caution.
Check the various ribbons for proper placement,
tracking, tension (no visual sagging) and general
condition (smoothness, fraying, and tears).
