Remove the belt from the machine and
discard.
Pull the drive belt over the rim of the pul-
ley (Figure 7-5, A) and roll it into posi-
tion. Make sure it is positioned within the
emergency stop mechanism (B).
Route the replacement belt over the top
idler pulley (Figure 7-5, A) and make sure
it is positioned within the emergency stop
mechanism (B).
Pass the two ends of the belt through the
bracket assembly and secure, reversing
Steps 4 and 5:
Make sure the “teeth” of each segment
are properly oriented. If necessary,
refer to Figure 7-4.
Manually pull the two belt sections
tight before completely tightening the
bracket bolts.
The belt ends should extend 1 to 3”
(25 to 75 mm) beyond the edges of
the bracket.
Make sure the plastic wire ties are
pulled very snug. These keep the ends
of the belt from interfering with proper
operation.
Reverse Step 3 to adjust tension on the
new belt.
Lower the front access guard back into
position. Make sure it is secure.

Clutch-Brake Roller Alignment
The function of the padded clutch rollers is to
grasp the corners of the flatwork for pick up by
the transfer clamp.
The padded clutch rollers located at the top
of the inlet conveyor must be aligned parallel to
each other for consistent clutching.
It is very important that the space between the
rollers is even for consistent corner clutching.
Required Tools
7/16”, 1/2”, 9/16” wrenches, 3/16”
Allen key, thin slotted screwdriver
Perform only when the unit is OFF
with power disconnected.
Turn power OFF at the main disconnect
switch.
Turn ON the compressed air supply to
the unit.
Raise the front access guard and secure in
position using the provided bracket arms
(Figure 7-1).
Locate the right side pneumatic panel
(Figure 7-6) just to the right of the center
of the machine.
