Use a small screwdriver to push in the
lockout screw and turn it 1/4 turn clock-
wise to lock it in the “in” position. This
allows compressed air to flow to the
transfer clamps.
Move into the middle of the machine.
Use care.
Locate the tension rollers between the
black spreader belts.
Adjust the outside (closest to the endframe)
tension roller.
Loosen the locknut (Figure 7-32, A)
and turn the bolt (B) to adjust the gap
to about 1/8” (3 mm).
Tighten the locknut to secure the ad-
justment.

Adjust the inside (closest to the center)
tension roller.
Loosen the locknut and turn the bolt
to adjust gap to about 3/8” (9 mm).
Tighten the locknut to secure the ad-
justment.
Repeat Steps 8 and 9 for the other side.
Reverse Step 5 and release the main air
solenoid screw by turning it 1/4 turn
counterclockwise.
Start the unit and process several pieces
to verify proper adjustment.
Make further adjustments as necessary.
