Service work

Check the harness for the Registration Patch Sensor according to the following steps. If a break is found,
prepare and install the Registration Sensing Assembly (FM3-8117-020).
1) Turn OFF the Main Power SW.
2) Remove all the Drum Units and the ITB.
3) Remove the Cassette 1 Separation Roller Unit and the Cassette 1 Pickup Unit.
4) Remove the 3 claws of the Connector Cover for the Registration Patch Sensor.

5) Disconnect the 2 connectors.
