Cause
When rewriting to the flash PCB of the main controller PCB 1 frequently occurred and the count of rewriting
reached the upper limit, the controller chip on the flash PCB output a warning status, causing the BIOS on
the main controller to stop during the start up.

[Caution] When upgrading the system software, make sure that the combination of versions is the latest
Ver.30.06 and later.
<Duplex Jamming>
Title
010A Jam Code upon paper being attracted to the ITB due to the influence of the Secondary Transfer Voltage
in duplex mode
Symptom
In double-sided copying/printing, the leading edge of the second side of the paper was attracted to the ITB
and accordingly the paper was not fed to the fixing assembly side, resulting in 010A jam.
In addition, this jam tends to occur with thin paper, paper that easily becomes charged (paper that is
electrostatically charged immediately after being copied and delivered), paper that contains a lot of moisture,
and paper that is easily curled.
- 010A: First Delivery Sensor Delay Jam (PS21)
Cause
The paper exhibiting the symptom was attracted to the ITB, since the paper separation failure occurred due
to the influence of the Secondary Transfer Voltage of the leading edge on the second side.
Service work
1) Reduce the Secondary Transfer Voltage of the leading edge on the second side by changing the setting
value in Service Mode > Mode List > COPIER > Option > IMG-TR > T2TOPDIV from the default "0" to "1" .
2) Make ten sheets of double-sided copies. If no jam occurs, the work is completed. If the jam occurs,
change the setting value in T2TOPDIV to "2", and make the double-sided copies in the similar manner. If the
jam occurs with this setting, confirm other factors.
