As a temporary measure, the sheet [3] is attached to the sensor lever [2] in the rear side [a] of the waste
toner inner case assembly [1] (the photos [A] and [B] respectively show the states before and after the
measure is taken), and as a permanent measure, the shape [b] of the sensor lever is changed (as shown in
the photo [C]) to correct the problem of insufficient movable range of the sensor lever. In addition, the
process is improved to correct the problem of incorrect forming of a harness path.

Service work

Prepare the countermeasure waste toner flag sheet (FL0-2463-000). Follow the steps below to attach the
waste toner flag sheet to the sensor flag and check that the harness at the rear side of the waste toner inner
case assembly has been correctly fitted.
1) Turn off the Main Power SW.
2) Open the waste toner cover, and take off the waste toner case assembly.
3) Remove 5 screws [1] to remove the rear upper cover [2], the rear cover [3] and the connector cover [4].
