Place a blank sheet of LTR-size paper on the copyboard glass, and output 21 images.
*This is performed to supply toner to the P-cartridge.

Check the value in [COPIER > Display > DENS > DENS-K].
* Check to make sure that the value of [DENS-K] is closer to 0%.
* Even after outputting 21 blank images of LTR size paper, the value of this service mode item may
not be close to 0%. But, the value will be closer to 0% as the copier is used.
9.
If no problem is found within 21 blank images, make a copy of a CA-1 test chart and check to see
if the density is normal; if normal, finish this procedure.
10.
Check to make sure that toner is supplied without failure.
11.
Output 2 sheets of Bk PG-5 image alone using LTR-size paper. [255]
12.
Check to see if the Bk toner bottle rotates intermittently for a minute or two during outputting or
after outputting. [

13.
Remove the door switch tool and close the front door.
14.
If the error code is still being displayed, continue to the “Servicing” section regarding the
replacement of the Toner Feed Assembly below.
SERVICING:
If the Toner Feed Assembly requires replacement because of an E020-0360/ 0391/ 03b1 error codes due to
the toner bottle not turning or toner depositing at the toner sensor, follow the instruction below.
Note: Before going through the preparation steps below, please reference the Service Manual to gain
access the Toner Feed Assembly.
<Preparation>
1) Remove all Drum Units.
2) Remove the ITB Unit.
3) Turn OFF the power.
4) Remove Cassette 1.
5) Remove the Front Cover.
6) Remove the Left Cover.
7) Remove the First Delivery Tray.
8) Remove the Toner Bottle Mount (black).
