SERVICING:
Output a PG print by following the steps below and make a Service Mode adjustment of the toner color that
has the ghost image problem.
1)
Change the setting value from "59" to "1000" in Service Mode > Mode List > COPIER > Adjust >
BLANK > BLANK-B.
2)
Select a paper cassette from "A4" or "LTR" in Service Mode > Mode List > COPIER > Test > PG
>PG-PICK.
3)
Change the setting value to "255" in Service Mode > Mode List > COPIER > Test > PG > DENS-
Y/M/C/K.
4)
Change the setting value to "0" (Full Color Mode) in Service Mode> Mode List > COPIER > Test >
PG > F/
M-SW, set "49" in Service Mode > Mode List > COPIER > Test > PG > TYPE, and then output a
PG print.
Repeat the above procedure by changing the setting value to "1" (Black and White Mode) in Service
Mode > Mode List > COPIER > Test > PG > F/M-SW.
The following images are PG49 test prints when the ghost did not occur.
The sample [A] is an image printed in Full Color Mode, and the sample [B] in Black and White
Mode.
