9) Replace the retard joint with the new type retard joint (FC9-4290-010). The photo[A] shows the old type,
the [B] shows the new type.
10) Reassemble the part in the reverse order from the step 8).
11) Make test copy to check if the symptom does not occur any more.

Title
0105 Jam Code occurs due to the detached registration sensor
Symptom
0105 Jam occurred with all cassettes.
- 0105: Registration Sensor Delay Jam
Cause
When attaching and detaching the Registration Patch Sensor, since the claw of the attachment position of
the Registration Sensor (PS20) attached to the Registration Patch Sensor was not securely fitted, the
Registration Sensor was unable to detect the paper correctly.
Service work
Follow the steps to reinstall the registration sensor.
1) Turn OFF the power.
2) Pull out the Cassette 1.
3) Open the Right Lower Cover [1], then release the lock by pushing the part [a] to open the Right Cover
fully.
