6.1.2 Analog Function: Output — Specifications
You can use excitation terminals in association with ratiometric-resistance
measurements or alone. With certain restrictions, you can mix terminals
programmed for the analog function with terminals configured for the pulse count
and digital I/O functions.

A 12 bit D-to-A converter produces voltage and current excitation. When used for
resistance measurement, excitation is active only during measurement.
