prevent against risks of falling from above in industry, in construction work, in rescue and, more generally, for
any application of work at a height. Various models and standard versions are available, shown in
Tab. A . Other
special combinations of connectors and special lengths are available and the relative data are shown on the product
marking.
Use

always conduct a locking test to verify the correct operation (

). Always check the correct closure of the
connectors [8][9][11] . Always connect to an attachment point for fall arrest (A) of an EN 361 full body harness.
The use of a sternal attachment point is preferable over a dorsal one. The connection must be exclusively as shown
in
ƬJ
.

The connection lanyard [10] must never be detached from the
fall arrest device [1]

on the rope in the event of a fall. Do not connect the device to the attachment points for suspension or for work
positioning of an EN 813/ EN 358 harness. The anchor point must be preferentially located above the work area

rope supplied assembled with the product only. If replacement is needed, use the spare ropes listed in chart A
only. The replacement procedure is shown in

. Fixing or tensioning the rope is not necessary but, to improve
sliding, application of a light weight at the bottom of the rope is useful (< 5 kg). The rope must not shift laterally,

stay at the same work point, the device can be taken to a position higher than the operator (

is used to suspend the operator, it becomes, for all intents and purposes, a work line and therefore an additional
safety line must be used for optimum safety of the worker. In the event of dynamic loads on the device, this could
