Components
Description
Door control unit
In the housing, it is wired with control voltage of 24 V DC and is ready to be connected.
Automated operation:
The door can be opened with a button or signal device (loop
detector, radar, light sensor, radio, etc.). The
closing operation
occurs automatically
after a predetermined length of time (can be set from 0 to 9999 s).
Note!
The following is available: connection terminals for 230 V AC or 24 V DC as supply
voltage for the signal device.
Keypad
Built into the front of the housing cover
Functions: OPEN, STOP, CLOSE.
Main switch
The main switch disconnects all poles and is located on the front side of the control
cabinet. (depending on options)
Display
The display is built into the control unit and can be read through a transparent
housing cover.
Note!
When using a control cabinet made of stainless steel, the display is visible after
opening the control cabinet cover. (
Important!
The control cabinet may only be opened
by authorised electricians! Voltage is present!)
FRW Movement
detector*
Automatic, self-monitoring opening control device in the direction of escape.
Note!
Standard for doors in exit paths and escape routes
Movement detector*
For opening signals and/or for monitoring traffic
Automatic opening in the
case of a power outage*
The door opens automatically if the power goes out, for example.
Note!
Standard for doors in exit paths and escape routes
Types of operation*
Different types of operation can be set via parameters (see the control unit description).
*optional
5.7.2 Traffic monitoring
For monitoring of traffic, reflecting light beams or photo eyes can be connected in addition to the sensitive
edge. During the closing movement, an interruption in the light beam triggers the door to reverse direction.
5.8
Drive mechanism
Depending on the type of door, one or two roller units are located in the upper cross beam with massive, PUR
rollers with ball bearings. An electric motor serves as the drive system for the leaf movement. The force and
movement is transferred from the electric motor to a belt, which then transfers it to the drive unit and thus to
the door leaf.
Note!
The closing delay function only takes effect if the light beam is not interrupted.
Note!
The components of the drive mechanism (electric motor, drive unit) are shown in the replacement
parts list.
