5.4
Door leaf construction
5.4.1 Door skin
The door skin for the door leaves consists of a flexible, polyester fabric that is coated with PVC on both sides.
The incorporated vision element consists of transparent PVC film. Door skins and vision elements can be
obtained without PVC upon request.
5.4.2 Vertical door leaf profile
The door panel profile consists of painted steel profiles with a rubber profile and sensitive edge for closing
safely. With the
“hygienic” option, the door panel profiles are made of polished stainles steel.
5.4.3 Floor closure (optional)
An optional lowering mechanism that closes the gap between the door and the floor.
5.5
Door frame material
5.5.1 Door jambs
The two side door jambs consist of painted and edged steel sheets or are made of stainless steel with
the
”hygienic” option. The door jambs serve to contain the spring tubes for rolling up the door skin.
5.5.2 Upper cross beam
The upper cross beam consists of painted and edged sheet steel. The drive mechanism built into the upper
cross beam consists of massive, coated steel parts, which are guided with ball bearings and PUR rollers.
For the
“hygienic” option, the upper cross beam consists of stainless steel with removable stainless steel cover
plates. The drive mechanism built into the upper cross beam consists of massive, twice powder-coated,
galvanised and painted or double-coated painted steel parts, which are guided with stainless steel ball
bearings and Vullkollan rollers. As an option, a slanted cover made of stainless steel can be placed on it.
5.5.3 Door seal
The door is sealed between the building and door frame with special foam strips.
5.6
Door mounting
The self-supporting frame construction is attached to the finished floor with brackets in the side jambs and to
the lintel with brackets in the cross beams. In the case of the NOVOSPRINT
®
SyncroXL, it is additionally
attached with a console for support in the centre.
