Using a drill bit, drill a hole through each of the cross hairs on the template. This will
create two holes you will use to mount the module.
Drilling tips for ceiling installations
Here are some tips to help you determine the best drilling strategy for your
container construction and selected fasteners.
IMPORTANT:
Due to the construction of most non-insulated trailers, if you use
fasteners to install the module, you will drill through the ceiling. Other trailers,
such as insulated trailers, may have a thicker ceiling that will offer the opportunity
to avoid drilling completely through the ceiling of the asset, if you limit the depth
of your drilling.
Tip 1. Wood Screws, Thick Ceiling Section:
Drill a pilot hole slightly smaller
diameter than your fastener. Limit the depth of the drilling, to avoid breaking
through the roof.
Tip 2. Well Nuts, Thick Ceiling Section:
Drill a hole large enough in diameter to
accommodate your well nut. Limit the depth of the drilling, to avoid breaking
through the roof.
