BLACKBERRY RADAR R2 ITE100-1 INSTALLATION GUIDE

NOTE:

Mounting on the roof support is not recommended, as the roof support where the

device is mounted may become deformed by impacts to the top of the trailer, affecting the

device sensing. Bent roof supports, ahead of the device, may block the sensing path.

IMPORTANT:

If you are considering installation of the Radar R2 on the ceiling of your trailer,

and the center of your trailer has exposed roof supports, do not install the Radar R2 between

the roof supports. Installing the Radar R2 between roof supports will cause the device’s

sensing path to be blocked and will affect the cargo reporting. Ceiling mounting is only

recommended on trailers where the roof supports in front of the Radar R2 are covered by an

interior ceiling panel that conceals the roof supports.
