MULTIPORT SPOOLER VIII (4-, 8-, and 12-Port Models)

To execute MPSSETUP, take the following steps.

1. Insert the Multiport Spooler VIII software diskette (or its backup copy)

in your PC’s diskette drive.

2. Activate that drive by typing its letter designation followed by a colon

(for example, “A:” or “B:”) and pressing [ENTER].

3. Run the program by typing in the name “MPSSETUP” and pressing

[ENTER].

3. Based on the decisions you have made about the software you need,

select from the options displayed on the screen.

• If you need to configure the MPS-VIII, refer to

Chapter 4

• If you need to install the UCTP and/or MPSDOS, refer to

Chapter 5

• If you need to install the software utilities, you must specify the disk

drive and directory to install them to. Refer to

Appendix C

for more

information about the software utilities.
