3.9 Decommissioning

3.9.1 Temporary

If the line is to remain unused for a long period of time, it is still advisable
to carry out the routine maintenance operations at least once every six
months.
Protect the line from the dust and store it in a dry, sheltered place.

ATTENTION

If the line must be moved in any way, it is essential to place it
in its original packing materials, in compliance with the norms
described in the HANDLING chapter. If the original packing
is not available, place the line on a pallet and fix it in a
secure and stable way.

Lift the printer's thermal head (of all the printers if there are more than
one).
Remove the thermal paper and thermal film (if used) and store it well
away from the light and heat sources.
