10. Note the status of the Local Area Connection, as shown below.

If the status is “ disabled ,” contact your network administrator.

If the status is “ enabled ,” right click on the Local Area Connection label
and select Properties from the pop-up menu.
The Local Area Connection Properties Window appears:

11. Ensure that the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) check box is checked.
12. Click the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) line to highlight it, then click the Properties
button to display the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties Dialog .
