6. Operations
Working with Transitions

Use the following steps to perform a Mix (or "dissolve"):
1. Set up the desired PIP , Key , BG , DSK or LOGO transition in the normal manner.
2. Preset the desired transition rate:
a. Press { HOME } > { EFFECTS } to display the Effects Menu .
b. Scroll to the Transition Type line and select MIX .
c. Scroll to the Transition Rate line and select the desired rate, in 0.1
second increments.
3. In the Transition Section , press TRANS to dissolve the setup to Program. At the
conclusion of the transition, the Home Menu appears

Use the following steps to perform a Wipe :
1. Set up the desired PIP , Key , BG , DSK or LOGO transition in the normal manner.
2. Preset the desired transition rate, wipe effect and wipe edge:
a. Press { HOME } > { EFFECTS } to display the Effects Menu .
b. Scroll to the Transition Type line and select the desired wipe pattern.
c. Scroll to the Transition Edge field and select the desired wipe edge.
d. Scroll to the Transition Rate line and select the desired rate, in 0.1
second increments.
3. In the Transition Section , press TRANS to wipe the setup to Program. At the
conclusion of the transition, the Home Menu appears
