Us e the m em ory c onfiguration pac ket (M) to c us tom iz e the s iz e of the printer’s buffers .
Mem ory m us t be alloc ated in 1/2K inc rem ents . The m em ory c onfiguration pac ket does not ac c ept

Eac h buffer’s alloc ated m em ory rem ains in effec t until that buffer is realloc ated. For this reas on,
realloc ate all the buffers when realloc ating any buffer. Realloc ating m ore m em ory than what is
available c aus es an error.

M 3. dev ic e Storage type. Us e R for volatile RAM. Pac kets s tored in volatile
RAM are deleted when the printer is turned off.
M 4. buffer s ize Buffer s iz e in 1/10K ranges . The following table lis ts the
c onfigured buffer s iz es and m in-m ax values for the printer. The
printer’s c onfiguration is s tored in non-volatile RAM and s aved
when the printer is turned off.
The m axim um value for eac h buffer is lis ted; however, the s um of
all the buffers c annot exc eed the m axim um available m em ory of
the printer.
