The following s yntax is the res pons e for a Job 3 reques t. Pres s FEED (if nec es s ary) to return the
job res pons e.
Syntax

J 1. J Job Res pons e Identifier.
J 2. “Status 1 A,B” Status 1A c ontains the field num ber, in the form at or batc h, where
an error was found. If the error is not in the form at or batc h, a “0" is
returned.
Status 1 B c ontains the error num ber. See Chapter 8, “ Diagnos tic s
and Errors .”
J 3. “Status 2 A,B,C,D,E” Status 2 A c ontains the pac ket type, field type, field num ber,
param eter, and error num ber:
A The MPCLII pac ket that has an error - Form at (F), Batc h (B),
Chec k Digit (A), Graphic (G), or Font (W ).
B The MPCLII field that has an error. If the pac ket has no fields ,
Status 2 A is replic ated. If the error oc c urs before the field is
identified a ques tion m ark is s ent. Sinc e the batc h data is
variable, a D is s ent to indic ate data.
C The field num ber within eac h pac ket. The pac ket header is the
firs t field and eac h s ubs equent field is indic ated by the field
s eparator.
D The param eter within the field that has an error. The
num bering begins after the field identifier.
E The error num ber. See Chapter 8, “ Diagnos tic s and Errors .”
J 4. “FM T-1” Returns the form at num ber.
J 5. “BCH-2” Returns the batc h num ber.

2 is the field num ber where an error was found. 612 is the error num ber, indic ating that data is
m is s ing or does not m atc h the form at definition for that field.
Note : If m ore than one error oc c urred, only the m os t s erious error is ac knowledged.

Indic ates that an error oc c urred on a bar c ode ( B ) field within a form at ( F ) pac ket. The bar c ode
field is the fourth ( 4 ) field in the pac ket. The error oc c urred in the s ixth ( 6 ) param eter of the field.
Error num ber 33 m eans the bar c ode dens ity is invalid.
To c lear an error, pres s ENT ER . An ENQ c an als o c lear errors num bered les s than 500. Onc e
the error is c orrec ted, a job reques t c an be s ent. The printer c annot ac c ept another job reques t
until the error is res olved.
The following s yntax is the res pons e for a Job 4 reques t.

Printe d the num ber of tags or labels rem aining in the batc h to print.
T otal the total num ber of tags or labels to be printed in the c urrent
batc h.
“ FM T -1/BCH-2" The form at or batc h num ber is returned.
