RFID Format Design Tips
This s ec tion provides s om e tips about des igning form ats on large-gap RFID s upplies .
Printing over the RFID inlay m ay c aus e printing irregularity.
Do not use skip index with RFID supplies . Unexpec ted res ults m ay oc c ur.

Determ ine the label length. Meas ure the s upply ac c ording to the s upply type:

Die c ut s upplies :

Meas ure from the leading edge of one label to the leading
edge of the next label ac c ounting for the die c ut gap in the
form at header.

Blac k m ark s upplies :
♦
Meas ure from the top of one blac k m ark to the top of the
next blac k m ark.
♦
Aperture s upplies :
♦
Meas ure from the top of one aperture hole to the top of the
next aperture hole.
The leading edge is the edge of the label that exits the printer firs t; regardles s of how the form at
is des igned on the label.
Us e the Monarc h® RFID Printer Setup Utility to c onfigure the printer (read and write power,
