Power Cable
BEFORE CONNECTING POWER TO THIS INSTRUMENT, THE
PROTECTIVE GROUND (EARTH) TERMINALS OF THIS INSTRUMENT
MUST BE CONNECTED TO THE PROTECTIVE CONDUCTOR OF THE LINE (MAINS)
POWER CORD. THE MAIN PLUG SHALL ONLY BE INSERTED IN A SOCKET OUTLET
(RECEPTACLE) PROVIDED WITH A PROTECTIVE GROUND (EARTH) CONTACT. THIS
PROTECTIVE GROUND (EARTH) MUST NOT BE DEFEATED BY THE USE OF AN
EXTENSION CORD (POWER CABLE) WITHOUT A PROTECTIVE CONDUCTOR
(GROUNDING).
This instrument is shipped with a three-wire power cable. When this cable is connected to
an appropriate AC power source, this cable connects the chassis to earth ground. The
type of power cable shipped with each instruments depends on the country of destination.
Test Leads
The test leads provided are designed specifically for use with this instrument. The red
High Current lead will mate with the red Current jack. The black Return lead will install
into the black Return jack.

Operating Environment
This instrument may be operated in temperatures from 32° - 113° F (0° - 45° C).
Relative humidity of 0 to 95%.
Altitude up to 15,000 feet (4,600 meters).
Ventillation: When choosing a bench location, or in rack mount applications, insure that
there is at least 6 inches (15 cm) of space from the rear panel to any wall or obstruction
behind the unit.
