32. If a device verification passes, the serial number text turns GREEN.
33. If a device verification fails, the serial number text turns RED.The test results are also displayed in the
System Verification Software Main Menu - Main Menu
dialog box in the
Verification Test Control
area.
34. If a device verification was canceled before a pass-fail status could be established, the serial number text
is White.
35. If a device verification has not been performed, there is no entry for the serial number; however, a
device's serial number may be entered before testing by double clicking a device serial number text box
and entering the number manually.
36. The test results, pass or fail, is displayed in dialog boxes and in the Verification Test Control frame.
37. Initially, if a device verification failed, the program displays the number of points that failed and asks if
you would like to recheck those points.
38. If you answer
Yes
, the points are rechecked. If they now pass, the device verification is considered good
and is passed. In contrast, if the points cannot be resolved, the device verification is failed.
39. Test both devices.
40. When both devices have been tested, select
Data to Floppy
for archiving.
41. If this is the first frequency band being tested (either 40 MHz to 65 GHz or 65 GHz to 110 GHz), proceed
to the restart method below for instructions on completing the full broadband calibration and
verification.

Note
It is important to save the data to the floppy disk before proceeding or the verification results will be
overwritten the next time the program runs.
