Program Setup and Calibration

The system performance verification software runs in a

Windows

environment. Note that the actual

appearance may vary slightly depending on the operating system used in the GPIB PC Controller.

Starting the Program and Initializing

With the equipment and software configured as described in

“Configure the System” on page 7-2

, turn on

the computer and allow it to boot up to

Windows

Insert the

W1 Calibration Component

disk from the calibration kit into the VNA disk drive and insert the

W1 Component Verification

disk into the PC disk drive.

Locate the

W1 Verification Software

icon (shown below) on the desktop and double-click it.

The program then displays the

About

dialog box with version information. Press the

Enter

key or click

to continue.

You are first prompted to enter your name.
