in the dialog below until the following calibrations are finished. The calibrations are
performed by connecting the calibration devices to the W1 coupler ports as directed by the VNA
on-screen instructions.
19. Verify that the VNA screen shows the trace display shown in Figure 7-11 .
20. Connect the
50 Ohm Broadband Terminations
as
Isolation Devices
on the
W1 coupler ports
as directed by
the VNA on-screen instructions. Start the calibration by pressing the
Enter
key on the VNA front panel.
21. The same
50 Ohm Broadband Terminations
are used as the
Broadband Loads
in the second calibration
step. Press the
Enter
key on the VNA front panel to measure the broadband loads.
22. Install the
Open
and
Short calibration standards
on the
W1 coupler ports
as directed by the VNA on-screen
instructions.

Note
The verification devices must be connected to the W1 connector coupler ports and not to the VNA
ports. Use the torque wrench supplied with the verification kit when tightening the device
connections.
