7-8 Testing the Verification Standards
Whenever the program is executing a command from the main menu, the buttons are disabled until the
currently executing command is finished. This is necessary due to the event driven nature of Windows. Also,
while a command is being executed, informational messages may be displayed on the screen.
30. Click either the
Matched Thru
or
Mismatched Thru
command buttons and follow the on-screen
instructions.
31. Ensure that the correct device is connected.
• The
Matched Thru
verification standard is the device with one scribe line.
• The
Mismatched Thru
verification standard is the device with two scribe lines.

Note The verification standards must be connected to the W1 coupler ports and not to the VNA ports.
