2. Slide the headrest frame tilt locking lever through the hole of the drape, and wrap the

drape around the bellows.

3. Peel the sticker off the taped end of the drape and stick to the opposite side of the drape

when taut.

Control Pendant and Holster

The control pendant enables the user to:

• adjust the bed height (Z axis)

• adjust the position of the articulating backrest, seat, and footrest

• return the bed to the home (X-Y center) position

• activate directional, pivot, and caster lock modes

• wirelessly connect to the

CATALYS®

System

• recall pre-programmed memory positions

• monitor the battery status

Refer to the

Mobile Patient Bed Safety and Regulatory

chapter for instructions on using the

control pendant to operate the bed.

WARNINGS

To prevent unintended movement of the bed, always place the control pendant in the holster
when not in use, especially during surgical lens removal.

Do not hold the control pendant against the patient or user during surgery. Metal buttons, coins,
keys, etc. may activate the control pendant buttons.

NOTE

The control pendant’s motion controls are disabled when communicating with and under

CATALYS®

System control.
