5.3 AMAZONE calibration button
The calibration button (Fig. 36) in the control
centre is connected to the control terminal in the
tractor cab. When actuating the calibration but-
ton, the metering motor to calibrate the seed rate
or empty the seed hopper starts running.
The calibration button can be used on imple-
ments with and without ISOBUS system.
The calibration button cannot be connected to
the control terminal.
The calibration button (Fig. 36) is not required if
the implement is equipped with the TwinTermi-
nal.

5.4 Control terminal for implements with ISOBUS system
The combination can be equipped with the ISOBUS system. Implements with the ISOBUS system
have a job computer that is installed in a protected position on the implement. The job computer con-
trol the hydraulic cylinders and electric motors, monitors the implement functions, and implements the
inputs on the control terminal made by the tractor driver.
The ISOBUS system makes it possible to connect the implement to any ISOBUS control terminal. If
the tractor has an ISOBUS system, the AMAZONE job computer can be connected to the existing
ISOBUS socket of the tractor and operated with the on-board terminal.
It must be noted that functions are not executed if the control terminal does not have the correspond-
ing software. If the control terminal does not have the "Section Control" software, GPS signals cannot
be processed with the implement.
