Do not adjust the hexagon socket
screw (Fig. 277/1) of the metering
wheels. They have a slight circum-
ferential backlash in the seeding
shaft groove.
The tramline metering wheels can
rotate freely on the seeding shaft.

4. Two adjustment rings rest closely on a seed
housing. Thus, they secure the right half of
the seeding shaft axially.
Loosen the hexagon socket screws (Fig.
278/1) of the adjustment rings.
Note: The seeding shaft coupling connect-
ing the two halves of the seeding shaft are
not shown.
