8.4.1 Calibrating the seed rate - implements with star wheel drive
8.4.1.1 Preparing the implement for calibration
1. Prepare the implement for calibration, see section "Calibrating the seed rate", page 141.
2. If the tramline counter shows the number "0" on the "" control terminal, set the tramline
counter to "1".
The tramline counter must not show the number "0" on the ""
control terminal during calibration.
If the tramline counter is on "0",

no seed will be delivered from the tramline metering wheels

an incorrect gearbox position is determined through incorrect
calibration values.
3. Undo the locking knob (Fig. 175/1).
4. The gearbox setting value required for the
first calibration is provided in the table (Fig.
176).
5. Place the pointer (Fig. 175/2) of the gear
control lever on the required gearbox ad-
justment value.
6. Firmly tighten the locking knob (Fig. 175/1).
