For quick installation, the gear wheels (Fig.
267/1) on the seeding shaft have two parts.
Screw the two halves of the gear wheel (Fig.
267/2) onto the seeding shaft with 2 bolts (Fig.
267/3) and couple with the tramline metering
wheel (Fig. 267/4).
It is not necessary to dismount the seeding shaft.

5. Install one gear wheel (Fig. 268/1) on the
lay shaft.
For quick installation, the gear wheel has
two parts. Screw the two halves of the gear
wheels onto the lay shaft with 2 bolts (Fig.
268/2).

6. Mesh the gear wheel pairings together.
7. Tighten the hexagon socket screws (Fig.
269/1) of the gear wheels on the lay shaft
without tension, until axial shifting of the
gear wheels is ruled out. In doing so, the
hexagon socket screws (Fig. 269/1) engage
in the groove of the lay shaft.
8. Fold up the lay shaft,
see section 12.5.2.2, page 208.
