Adjusting the implement to type of seed

1. The required setting values can be found in the table (page 68).

8.3.1

Bottom flap position

This setting affects the seeding rate.

Calibrate the seed rate after the adjustment.

1. Set the bottom flap lever (Fig. 161/1) in the

group of holes (Fig. 161/2) at the value from
the table (see page 68).

Always engage the bottom flap lever.

Fig. 161

If the desired seed rate is not achieved with spelt and other cereal
crops, position the bottom flap lever at the next higher table value,
see page 68.

Before transport, place the bottom flap lever of the seed drill on the
table value again. Otherwise the grain can exit from the seed housing
uncontrolled.
