9. The desired seed rate [kg/ha] is generally not achieved with the first calibration. Using the calibra-

tion values from the first calibration, determine the required gearbox setting values for the desired
seed rate [kg/ha] using the calculating disc rule, see section "Determining the gearbox setting us-
ing the calculating disc rule", Seite 149.

10. Extend the adjustment range of the Vario gearbox, see section "Extending the range of the Vario

gearbox", Seite 65, if the gearbox setting lever



points to a scale value lower than 10



constantly points to a scale value of 80 or higher.

11. Repeat the calibration test until the desired seed rate is achieved.
