Installing the GPIB interface card

Perform this installation with the PC disconnected from AC power. 

Figure 318

 

shows a GPIB interface card.

Insert the GPIB card in the PCI connector. Gently rock the card into place; 
do not force it. Make sure the card is fully seated by pushing firmly on the 
edge of the card with the palm of your hand.
