Baseband Noise without Test Set Measurement Example

This measurement example will help you measure the noise voltage of a
source.

Defining the measurement

From the

File

menu, choose

Open

If necessary, choose the drive or directory where the file you want is stored.

In the

File Name

box, choose

“BBnoise_without_testset_89410.pnm.”

Click the

Open

button. The appropriate measurement definition

parameters for this example have been pre-stored in this file.

Table 50

page 321 lists the parameter data in this file.

NO T E

To ensure accurate measurements allow the DUT and measurement equipment to warm up
at least 30 minutes before making the noise measurement.
