EXPLANATION

01 Zone Count

(1-8) 1

Enter the number of different zones (1-8) needed to be violated to satisfy the Up & About condition. This
prevents one zone tripping multiple times (such as a motion detector) from satisfying the condition. If the
number programmed is two, then two different zones must be violated to satisfy the condition.

1=YES 0=NO

Select whether the system should continuously repeat (YES) or stop (NO) the Up & About sequence after
the time window expires or the violation count has been satisfied.

If you select 0 (NO), the system stops the Up & About sequence until the next programmed start time is
reached.

If you select 1 (YES), the system resets the number of violations counter, and automatically starts a
time window of the same duration.

NOTE: A repetitive Up & About sequence continues until the Stop Time is reached or when a user enters
User Code + [#] + [76]. In this case, the Up & About begins when the next programmed start time is
reached.

Enter 1 (YES) if arming AWAY or MAXIMUM completely satisfies the Up & About condition. A new window
starts upon disarming or arming STAY or INSTANT provided the system is programmed for Repetitive time

Temporary Schedules

Each partition can be assigned a temporary schedule, which overrides the regular open/close schedule (and the holiday
schedule). This schedule takes effect as soon as it is programmed, and remains active for up to one week.

Only users with the authority level of manager or higher can program temporary schedules. A temporary schedule
affects only the partition from which it is entered. Temporary schedules can also be reused at later dates simply by
scrolling (pressing [#]) to the “DAYS?” prompt and activating the appropriate days. This should be considered when
defining daily time windows.
