Up & About Programming
Up & About programming provides the ability to insure there is activity from a person within a premises. This is
particularly useful to verify that an elderly person is okay. As long as the person violates (faults) any burglary zone(s),
arms the system, or presses a key on the keypad within a pre-defined time period, the system will not transmit a signal
to the central station.
UL
Up & About Scheduling is not permitted in UL installations.
To enter Up & About programming, do the following:
Enter Scheduling Menu Mode Installer Code + # 80. After entering Scheduling Menu Mode, press [0] until the "UP &
ABOUT PROG?" prompt appears.

01 Violations
(001-254) 001
Enter the number of violations of a zone required to satisfy the Up & About condition (001-254). If the
number of violations does not occur, an Up & About alarm is generated.
NOTES: The violation count can be completely satisfied by entering User Code + [#] + [76]. In this case,
the Up & About will begin when the next programmed start time is reached. Also, the user can add one
violation to the count by pressing any key on the keypad. There is a 1-minute timeout period before the
user can press another key to add another violation.
