Auto Range Delay
The auto range delay function is used when a capacitive load (C
L
) is measured by voltage source current
measurement (VSIM).
When voltage is applied to C
L
and current is measured in Auto range, after C
L
is charged the current value
drops and the measurement range decreases. This function delays the measurement for the temporal
response in the current value that occurs when the measurement range is switched.
The auto range delay function is enabled only in the current measurement (IM) auto range.
It does not work in the fixed range or voltage measurement (VM).
The auto range delay (Tar) is set as a value with respect to the 3
A range. For other ranges, the values in
1/10 multiples are set, as shown in the table below.
