When you disable DHCP, you must enter these parameters manually.
Phone Address.
This is the IP address that the phone has obtained dynamically from the DHCP
server or a static address that you manually configure. Section 8.5.2.2 on page 106 describes the
equivalent menu command.
Subnet Mask.
This parameter identifies the subnet mask for the phone. If DHCP is enabled, the
phone obtains this parameter from the DHCP server. Section 8.5.2.3 on page 106 describes the
equivalent menu command.

VLAN
You can configure VLANs on the switch that is built into the phone to match your network,
optimize performance, and obtain the best speech quality. You must enter the password prior to
modifying the VLAN configuration. Section 8.5.4 on page 113 describes the menu commands that
set up the VLAN.
