TFTP Address
This is the IP address for the file server that provides configuration information for the phone.
The phone obtained this address from the source specified in the TFTP Server panel, as described
in section 8.5.2.8.
To access this panel, select
Menu | Pswd Settings | IP Settings | TFTP Address
.
The TFTP server should contain a configuration file that provides the following information:

address of the SIP outbound proxy server (you can specify this as an FQDN or an IP address)
•
address of the SIP registrar server (you can specify this as an FQDN or an IP address)
•
address of the voice mail server (you can specify this as an FQDN or an IP address)
•
RTP start port
•
SIP receive port
•
SIP transmit port
•
SIP transport protocol
If you use the phone with a system that does not store the configuration file with all these
parameters, you must configure these parameters manually.

DSCP
This panel displays the DSCP (layer QoS) setting.

To access this panel, select
Menu | Pswd Settings | IP Settings | DSCP
.
Type a number for the DSCP setting and press the
OK
button. The phone will not accept a
number that is greater than 63. All voice packets (RTP) leaving the phone’s microprocessor will
have this value in the ToS byte of the IP header.
The default value is 0, which corresponds to
best effort
. If you use differentiated services in your
network, you should set the value to 46 (101110 binary) which corresponds to the expedited
forwarding per hop behavior (PHB).
