Ending a Call
6.6.1
You Terminate the Call
Do one of the following:
1.
Go on hook.

The phone ends the call, makes the handset and speaker quiet, and turns off
the LED for the call appearance.

Press the call button that is lit continuously green.

handset and speaker quiet, and turns off the LED for the call appearance.
3.
Press a call button other than the one that is lit continuously green. The phone ends the call.
If the LED on that call appearance button was off (indicating the call appearance was
inactive), the phone will provide you with dial tone and you can make another call.
If the LED on that call appearance button was indicated an incoming call, you will answer
the call.
If the LED on that call appearance button indicated call on hold or a conference call on hold,
you will resume the conversation with the other person or people.
6.6.2
Other Party Terminates the Call
When the person that you are talking with goes on hook, your phone is immediately aware of
this. The phone turns the call appearance LED solid red to indicate that the far end has
disconnected. The phone changes the display to show that the call is disconnected:
The timer stops incrementing and shows you the duration of the call that has just ended. The
phone plays busy tone until you put the phone on hook.

Quick Ways to Dial a Number
6.7.1
Redial
You can dial any of the most recent 32 names or numbers that you have dialled. You can also dial
any of 32 names or numbers of people who have recently called you.
6.7.1.1
Last Name or Number Dialled
To dial the name or number that you most recently dialled, press the
Redial
button twice.
