Some parameters of the ADJUSTMENTS menu are safety relevant AND MUST BE
KEPT TO THEIR DEFAULT VALUE. This requirement is clearly stated in the list
below with the phrasing “(Mandatory default value)”.
1) ZERO SP POT 1
Volts, 0 V through 5 V. Default value is 0 V.
Accessing to this adjustment by pressing ENTER on the hand set, the current
value of SPPOT1 is acquired and shown on the hand set display.
Access (acquire) and then save this adjustment with the tiller in the straight-ahead
orientation. The acquired value will be used to match the straight-ahead orientation
for tiller and steered wheel. In conjunction, also ZERO SP POT 2 is acquired.
2) ZERO SP POT 2
Volts, 0 V through 5 V. Default value is 2.5 V.
See ZERO SP POT 1.
3) NEG SP1 DELTA
Volts, 0 V through 5 V. Default value is 1.9 V.
This adjustment defines the extreme negative value of the set point. Acquire it by
turning the steering handle to its negative limit.
4) POS SP1 DELTA
Volts, 0 V through 5 V. Default value is 1.6 V.
This adjustment defines the extreme positive value of the set point. Acquire it by
turning the steering handle to its positive limit.

conjunction with SP Y THROTTLE.
7) SP Y THROTTLE
Percentage, 0% through 100%. Default value is 100%.
This adjustment defines the y coordinate used to evaluate the linear relationship
between the steering set point and the steering command. It has to be set in

8) ADJUSTMENT
#01
(Mandatory default value is 0). This setting is used to acquire motor resistance. To
do that, turn ADJUSTMENT #1 to 1 for a while (e.g. 2 s), then back to 0 and then
save it. The motor resistance will be automatically acquired and saved in
ADJUSTMENT #2 (in milliohms).
