Explanation
Linear Sweep
Sweeps using evenly spaced step values that increase linearly from the specified start
value to the stop value.
If the sweep count calculated from the start, stop, and step values exceeds 65535 points,
an error occurs, and the sweep operation can be carried out only up to 65535 points.

Log Sweep
Sweeps exponentially from the specified start value to the stop value at the specified
step count.
The step count can be set arbitrary in the range of 2 to 65535. However, if the start
value and stop value have opposite signs, an error occurs, and the sweep operation
cannot be carried out.
In addition, if the start value or stop value is 0, an error occurs, and the sweep operation
cannot be carried out.

Note
• Use a fixed range so that the range setting does not change during the sweep operation.
Sweep operation is possible in auto range, but the time of each source measure cycle will
be irregular. In addition, if the range setting changes, the source level will be
discontinuous.
• When fixed range is used, the sweep operation is carried out in the range setting best
suited to the source level with the highest resolution.
