text.
Use the following procedure to problem solve color-to-color misregistration.
1. Is the Color Patches in Job feature enabled?

Enable the Color patches in Job feature.
(Interval of 100)
No.
Check that the color patch interval is set to 100. Continue
with the next step.
Yes.
2. Has the Image Sensor Glass been cleaned recently?
Action
Result
Not sure.
No.
Continue with the next step.
Yes.
3. Is the Image Sensor docked fully into position?
Action
Result
Dock the Image Sensor.
No.
Continue with the next step.
Yes.
4. Run
and select Register Heads Phase.
Action
Result
Troubleshoot the fault. See
A fault occurs.
Continue with the next step.
The diagnostic routine runs
without any faults.
5. Select a different interval for the Color Patches in Job feature. The interval does not
need to be set to 100. However, keep in mind that the lower the interval setting, the
greater the ability of the Printer to compensate for missing jets.
