Introduction
This chapter describes available printer options and covers
installation for those that are user installable.
Printer Options
You can order controller board upgrades and paper handling options
to enhance your printer’s performance. The following chart lists
options and their types of installation.

All factory installable options ordered with your printer are installed
before the printer is shipped. The 2400 dpi resolution and NEIT
upgrades require that the printer engine be reset to operate at 10 ppm
(letter/A4 output). Although the first of these upgrades, which
changes your printer engine speed, must be done at the factory,
additional second upgrade may be installed on site.
