Click Close; the Linearization window closes. Then, select
File: Exit to close Command Center.
Managing Custom Gamma Curves
You can retrieve custom gamma curves (that you created or
downloaded using the densitometer and Command Center) from
your printer and save them on your system. These files can be
downloaded to the printer again as needed.
To manage custom gamma curves, open XANTÉ Command Center
and select Graphics: Linearization. The Linearization window
appears (fig. 4.23). Then use one of the following procedures to
manage your custom gamma curve.
•
To retrieve a custom gamma curve from the printer, click Load
from printer.
•
To retrieve a custom gamma curve saved to your PC, click Load
and select the file.
•
To save a custom gamma curve to your PC, retrieve it from the
printer using Load from printer; then click Save.
•
To save a custom gamma curve to your printer, retrieve it from
your PC using Load. Select the custom gamma curve to be
updated from the Update Transfer Curve list; and click Save to
printer.
Resetting Custom Curve Defaults
You can reset one or all custom curves to the factory setting(s).
To reset a custom gamma curve to the factory default (which is a
copy of the standard Gamma 0 curve)

Highlight the curve to change in the Update Transfer Curve list
in the Linearization window and click Reset Curve(s) (fig.
4.23). The Reset Curves window appears.
