Operation
Once the wood pieces have ignited and a good size fire
established, more wood kindling pieces can be added.
The maximum fill level is 1” (2.54cm) from the top of the
door opening.

Once the Catalyst has reached 750° on the display, the
boiler should enter burn mode. more fuel can be added
at this time.
Make sure all fuel used meets the guidelines in this man-
ual and is loaded parallel to the sides of the fire chamber.
125 lbs of seasoned hardwood such as oak or maple will
give an 8 hour burn at max draw. Other hardwood and
softwood species can be used, but may result in shorter
burn times as these woods are less dense and have less
energy by volume.
