Keep away from food and drinks. Do not eat, drink or smoke
while handling.

Keep in well ventilated place with access to safety shower and
eye shower.

Soak liquid spills in absorbent material and collect solids in a
container. Wash floor with water as spillage may be slippery.
Contact appropriate authorities in case of bigger spills.

Bulk material can be land dumped at an appropriate site in
accordance with local regulations.
02A.5.2 Personal protection equipment

Respiratory protection:
Not normally required. Avoid exposure
to product mists.
·
Hands protection:
Rubber gloves should be worn (PVC or
natural rubber for example).
·
Eye protection:
Eye goggles should be worn.
·
Skin and body protection:
Use protective clothing and take
care to minimize splashing. Use safety footwear when handling
barrels.
02A.5.3 First aid measures
·
Inhalation:
In the event of over exposure to spray mists move
victim to fresh air, keep warm and lying still. If effects persists,
seek medical advice.
·
Skin contact:
Wash immediately with plenty of water and
soap. Remove contaminated clothing. If irritation persists, seek
medical advice.
·
Eye contact:
Rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and
seek medical advice. If possible, keep rinsing until eye special-
ist has been reached.
·
Ingestion:
Rinse mouth with water. Drink milk, fruit juice or
water. Do not induce vomiting without medical advice. Imme-
diately seek medical advice. Do not give anything to drink to
an unconscious person.
Note! Complete safety data sheets for the specific products used at your
installation should be available from the cooling water additive
manufacturer or local representative.
