The local control instrumentation is placed on the WECS cabinet

and consists of:

Local start button, (green)

Local stop button, (red)

Local reset button / shutdown indication, (blue)

Local / remote start mode selector (start blocking for local /

remote operation)

Local Display Unit, displaying all information necessary for

operation of the engine.

Backup engine speed indiction

Backup lubrication oil pressure indication

Backup high temperature cooling water temperature indication

The three backup instruments are independent from the rest of

the system.
